A haven of serenity, civility, culture, and, last but certainly not least, culinary excellence. My family spent one of the most delightful afternoons of our lives, enjoying a scenic drive to this little spot of heaven The views of the Amalfi Coast are divine, and the little town would make a perfect spot to spend a couple of days exploring the region The hosts took care of every detail, from the atmosphere to the hospitality and exceptional cuisine - where we learned how to prepare pasta, made for a truly memorable experience, with Ricotta prepared from the fresh milk that came of Lolita, the farms famous bovine queen. Highly recommended to anyone seeking authenticity, tranquility, and a touch of magical Italy, outside the tourist madhouses. We will be back to stay in that place for a couple of days on our next visit. I can only imagine the magic of having a morning coffee in that Garden again. Please reach out directly to the hosts, they are delightful and super helpful.

Had the best afternoon with Pasquale and Rosanna at the farmhouse who made us feel like family from the moment we got there! We made fresh gnocchi, mozzarella and tiramisu all paired with their organic wine! The farmhouse itself is the perfect backdrop, getting to see the animals and the walk down the road to the viewpoint was a total bonus. We opted to book a transfer through them from Positano and back and it was certainly worth it, as it easily could have taken the whole day had we not done so. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and have an authentic experience!

Pasquale and his wife were so welcoming to their absolutely beautiful home. This was one of the best activities we have done on our trip. We booked last minute and wouldn’t change anything. Best way to spend my birthday.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My girlfriend and I had an absolutely incredible experience with Pasquale at La Vigna Degli Dei Farmhouse on the Amalfi Coast! This was much more than just a cooking class — it was one of the most fun, educational, and memorable experiences of our trip to Italy. Pasquale created such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We learned authentic cooking techniques, heard life lessons from his grandmother, and gained a real appreciation for the farm house and traditions. The entire experience was hands-on, engaging, and full of laughter. The setting itself is beautiful, with amazing views on the farm house and a few hundred meters to the cliff that made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was something really rewarding about preparing authentic Italian dishes ourselves and enjoying them afterward. If you are visiting the Amalfi Coast and want an experience that is both entertaining and unforgettable, we highly recommend Pasquale’s cooking classes. This was truly a highlight of our trip and a memory we will keep for a long time!

I visited this absolutely outstanding cooking class with a group of 6 girlfriends and we have had the most fantastic time! We ate the ricotta ravioli and eggplant and zucchini tagliatelle and enjoyed a beautiful tiramisu for dessert. Pasqualle was a great host, very knowledgable about his products and helped us to create the most delicious dinner - an unforgettable experience that we will never forget!!

There is no reception here and nobody in uniform. Pasquale leads the classes and looks after the animals and the land, Rosanna cooks everything that reaches the table, and Giuseppe is learning his mother’s kitchen.

Four generations have lived in this house. What you will cook is what they have always eaten.

Questions we get asked

If yours isn’t here, write or call and we’ll answer ourselves.

La Vigna degli Dei is a family-run farmhouse on the Amalfi Coast, above the town of Agerola. Run by the Acampora family across four generations, we're known for our cooking classes on the Amalfi Coast, farmhouse dinners, and three guest rooms. You'll make pizza, mozzarella, pasta and tiramisù using vegetables, wine, oil and milk from our own land, then eat what you cooked at our table, an authentic Italian cooking experience rather than a staged one.

Agerola is a town set high above the Amalfi Coast, in the Lattari Mountains between Amalfi and Sorrento. It looks down over the coastline rather than sitting on it, reached by a short, winding drive up from the coast road. We're in the San Lazzaro area of Agerola, one of the quieter and most authentic spots to experience the region beyond the coast itself.

Yes. You don't need to book a class to visit us. You can stay overnight in one of our three rooms as part of an Amalfi Coast farmhouse stay, come just for a farmhouse dinner without cooking anything yourself, or simply visit to taste and buy our own wine, olive oil or limoncello.

Yes, children are always welcome at our cooking classes and meals. Children under 3 come free, 3 to 6 year olds pay a reduced rate, and 6 to 10 year olds pay a slightly higher reduced rate, all lower than the adult price. With animals and open gardens around the farm, it's one of the better family-friendly things to do in Agerola.

We're about a 1 hour drive from both Naples and Sorrento, and about a 30 minute drive from Amalfi town. You can reach us by car, taxi, scooter, or public transport, see our transport guide below for the full routes. Many guests combine their stay here with day trips to Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Ravello.

Yes. We speak Italian, English and German, so international guests can book, ask questions and take part in our cooking classes without any language barrier.

Yes. We have three guest rooms, the Orange Room, Green Room and Blue Room, each with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and homemade breakfast included. Many guests combine an Amalfi Coast farmhouse stay with a cooking class or farmhouse dinner, so they can spend a full day with us rather than just a few hours.

Yes. Beyond our regular cooking classes and dinners, we can host anniversaries, celebrations and private group events tailored to what you have in mind. Just get in touch directly via the website, by phone at +39 353 2008713 (Italy) or +44 7392 934950 (UK), or by email.

We're not run as a conventional restaurant or hotel. We're a working family farm, owned and run by the Acampora family for four generations, that opened its table and three guest rooms to visitors. Everything you eat is grown or made here, including our own vegetables, wine, olive oil and limoncello. There's no reception desk or staff in uniform, you're met and hosted directly by the family members who grew up here, which is what guests consistently point to when searching for the best cooking class on the Amalfi Coast rather than a generic tourist experience.

Our cooking experiences, Make Pizza & Mozzarella, Forage Ravioli & Tiramisù, Milk the Cow & Make Gnocchi, and Farmhouse Dinner, can be booked directly through our website, with a deposit paid online and the rest settled on arrival. For rooms, write or call us directly and we'll answer ourselves, usually within a few hours, once you let us know your dates and how many you are.

The public bus company on the Amalfi Coast is SITA Sud, with routes and timetables at sitasud.com. From Positano, the easiest option is Travelmar: their website sells a combined ticket covering the ferry from Positano to Amalfi and a private bus with a reserved seat from Amalfi to Agerola. From Salerno, Minori or Maiori, take the ferry to Amalfi, then the SITA bus from Amalfi to Agerola San Lazzaro. From Sorrento, either take the SITA bus directly to Amalfi, or the ferry to Amalfi followed by the SITA bus to Agerola San Lazzaro. If you'd rather arrange a private taxi transfer, just reach out to us directly and we're happy to help.
